AB  - The article substantiates the need for quantitative measurement of differences in the purchasing power of the ruble in regional markets on the basis of interregional price indices. Results of calculations on comparison of regional levels of the prices for 1997-1998 concerning the region-standard as which Moscow was chosen are resulted.
